I had to do a trade show at the Natick Mall today, and decided to stick around to see what wetshaving supplies I could score. Turns out it is THE place for soaps and creams.
But I get ahead of myself.
I spent the day looking at the L'Occitane store, so my first stop was there. They were out of the Cade soap, but had cream. I really wanted the soap, so I moved on.
Next stop was The Art of Shaving. They had lots of soaps and creams, but at $22 for a refill puck of the soap, I wanted to see if I could do better.
So I moved on to The Body Shop, where they were out of shaving cream.
Was feeling like a bit of a bust until I hit Bath and Body Works, where they had a shelf full of Bigelow cream. I scored a tube for $5...the HUGE tube was $10, but I wanted to see how much stuff I could get for $20.
On to Crabtree & Evelyn, where they were fully stocked with Sienna, Nomad, and Sandalwood. Plus they were buy 1 get a 2nd 1/2 off. Perfect, since I couldn't decide whether I liked the Nomad or the Sienna better. They are both some of the best scents I have smelled yet in shaving products. I got them BOTH for $12. And as I was checking out, the woman gave me a $10 gift card that can be used in August.
So $20 bought be 2 pucks of awesome smelling soap, and a tube of (purportedly) great cream. More importantly, I found a place where I can get many different kinds of creams and soaps all under one roof!
