I picked up a one pound jar of this stuff at an old barbers supply, today. Contains "lanolin, olive oil and other ingredients of the highest quality". The directions say to "Apply cream to the face. Work up to rich lather with wet shaving brush." It also says how to mix it up for a lather machine.
Anyone else ever try this vintage cream?
Since I shaved this morning, I worked some up on my arm and worked up quite easily. Real test will be tomorrow morning. If it works really well, I may go back and buy up the rest.
The print on the label looks to be 50's or 60's, I'm guessing.
