West Coast Shaving Rocks!

Almost all of my shave gear comes from WCS and I am so happy with the customer service there. I have had a few snafu's with my orders like forgetting to send 2 packs of blades and instead sending only one and most recently a TOBS AS and cologne that leaked out during shipping. With the blades and the TOBS no questions asked, they sent replacements out ASAP and were apologetic about the situation. How great is that! I can't even get customer service like this from local shops that I frequent. I can rest easy knowing that I will always be taken care of at WCS. I cant say enough great things about them, most of the time I find the biggest selection and the best prices there too. Also they have some of the most extensive reviews and if you ever have a question they respond very quickly with accurate information. Thank you so much WCS, and thank you Lili for making my experience with you a stellar one.

My latest haul from WCS
$WCS order.jpg$Sledgehammer.jpg$15C in case 1.jpg
Don't mind the paper spacer in the case with the 15C, it's just to keep it from sliding as there was a little wiggle room.

I like WCS a lot, but if you don't buy $80, their shipping charges will eat you up. They almost force you to hit $80. I make a game out of it by seeing how close to $80 I can keep it. My last order was $80.29.

Yeah, shipping is the bane of the internet but compared to some sites, the money you save with WCS makes up for shipping costs even if you don't hit $80. I have seen various products 2 to 5 to even 10 dollars more on other sites.

love the customer service there also. I have only bought a few times but the last order they shipped me unscented Tobs instead of Jermyn street, and they said they would send me the right one and i could keep the wrong one, no questions asked. Very cool and quick service.

I think its rare to find a business that knows HOW to do business. In an age of getting spoon fed crap and being told to like it I think a place like WCS is the exception and exceptional because of it.
Wish I lived 20 mins away! My wife would probably divorce me though.:w00t:

Didn't even realize they had a minimum for free shipping. My first order climbed above that before I even got to the things I actually needed!

I've tried honestly thinking about a problem I've had with WCS, and the only thing I can think of is not liking something I ordered. As for the reviews, I think you can thank the B&B community for those! :thumbup1: You're dead-on right, it's hard finding a shop with good customer service, a good selection, and good prices, so WCS is really the hat-trick of online wet-shaving products with a b&m store as well. Unless they royally botch my orders from now on, I will continue to happily purchase from them for a very long time.

My story: I was placing my first wet-shaving order with them. At the time, I was living in Poland working for the US embassy. I filled in the address info, and put my city/state as DPO, AE: Diplimatic Post Office, Armed Forced Europe. I hit send, and get my order confirmation. Later that day I get an email from their customer service, possibly Lili, that they didn't know what a DPO was, and could I confirm my address. This wasn't my first trip to the rodeo. I checked the time and jumped on the phone to explain it. It took all of two minutes, and everything was straightened out. After that, no problems.

It's no wonder a large chunk of the B&B community does their online shopping there!

I am fortunate enough to live twenty minutes away from WCS. I go there for practically everything.

I love WCS. I have ordered there 3 times in the last 2 weeks, lol. They are cheaper than royalshave.com and bullgoose.com. While all 3 of them are located within 30 mins of me. I think WCS is the only one you can pick up from though. Anyhow, love them and their prices are hard to beat. Yes, the $80 FS is a bit high, but their prices more than make up for it. I just got 2 pucks of MWF yesterday and some ToBS Jermtn St after shave cream. Like McDonalds, I'm lovin it...

Bullgoose does not allow pick up. Royal Shave does not have a storefront for you to purchase things, but you can order online and pick up your order at their location to save shipping.

I am also a regular WCS customer. I love their customer service, their product selection, their availability, and their prices.....however, one of the best advantages of purchasing with them is the care that they take in packing my purchases. They go the extra mile to insure that the products reach me safely, and that the original boxes are pristine. As a person who has had an online business for the past 20 years and a Ebay business for the past 13, I know that my customers really appreciate proper packaging and handling of their items. I have always tried to go the extra mile in this regard, and I am extremely pleased that the folks at WCS share that same attention to detail. Think about that the next time you receive a package with your AS rattling around in the bottom of a box with half a dozen foam peanuts.

I've purchased quite a bit from WCS. But my big three for online shopping are WCS, ItalianBarber, and Bullgoose. I'll look at Amazon, too, since my Prime membership gives me free 2-day shipping on the stuff they stock.
The only problem I have with WCS is when something looks cool, and it's out of stock, but that's a problem with all shaving supply websites. :(
