So I was hopping and skipping last night to my computer with excitement to order a Merkur slant, only ton find that WCS is out of stock. Please tell me he usually restocks quickly

It might be a couple of weeks. I know the gold version was sold out for a couple of weeks and now it is back in stock. The slant is a great razor. I just got mine and I love it!
I'm not a slant user, but I just checked that price at royalshave, and that's a really good price. 
Whenever WCS is out of stock they usually restock pretty quick. WCS will notify you when an item is back in stock, just click on the out of stock item and they'll take care of the notification.

This should have never been made into a thread. The appropriate way to answer your questions should have been through Email to John. I don't see a reason to announce that a vendor is out of specific item. Especially a stand up guy like John, who provides wet shavers all over the globe a wonderful service.
Sorry gents. The reason we are constantly out of stock is we sell them that fast. We've got back orders that still haven't been filled from Dovo/Merkur still from 2009. Trust me that this is extremely frustrating not being able to keep items in stock, but it has nothing to do with us not understanding the demand or not having orders in place. Every Merkur on the site that is out of stock is because we can't get them fast enough. Feel free to write Dovo and tell them to make them quicker. It's what we're trying. 
As an aside, every other item on the site (except for eShave) that is out of stock also has an order in place. And in most cases, the order is many months outstanding and is back ordered from the manufacturer.
One more aside, we do not back order with sales, unlike some vendors. Unless it's an inventory miscount, if the site says it's in stock, it's in stock.

Completely agree. John has always offered great service, and if something is out of stock it is because he sells through quickly or the vendor drops the ball.
