Super stable lokking lather there. If memory serves, the WCS soaps are veg based. Ifmso then the lathering looks typical of the type. Super white, plenty stable, and thirsty as a desert in summer. How's the shave? Most veg soaps give me a bit of trouble with glide and slickness.

Yes, it was extremely stable.

It had more cushion and more slickness than most all other vegan soaps that I have ever tried. I was pleasantly surprised

Somehow, in many years of DE wet shaving, Gatsby soap has escaped my attention. Until now. It is increasingly rare for me to use a new soap and be blown away by it, but such was my experience with the Gatsby #1. Beautiful, rich lather. A pleasant but not overpowering scent. And a BBS on the first shave (and also the third) on only two passes with a Kai blade. Gatsby will now occupy a high place in my roster of great shaving soaps.
