After a long cycle this afternoon I decided to experiment with some stuff I haven’t used in a while. The Fine Superlite Slant was top of the list as I’ve been having trouble with a patch of really resistant flat hairs on my chin.
Pre was a hot shower, Nivea face wash and proraso pre/post followed by proraso white soap. Blade was a new Rapira super stainless which has been working really well for me in almost every razor I used. I swapped out the handle of the superlite for a heavyweight Ikon handle which looks great and actually helped the shave along. This cut through the 24 hours growth with no issues; WTG and ATG was all that was needed for a BBS. I did have some minor nicks on the chin, but this happens whenever I change any aspect of my routine.
All in all a pleasant experience and the slant is a lot better than what I remember from when I brought it years ago
