I still had them in the original packaging with a 1959 Super Speed, in it's original case (a 1955 Super Speed is the only Super Speed in my rotation). Wow!! what a great shave! I used my 35 year old Rooney badger, Fatboy razor, along with my newly acquired Old Spice mug of soap. One of the closest, smoothest, most comfortable shaves I've had. The blues are as good, maybe better, than any of my other blades (Feather, Derby, Rapira, Astra, Perma-Sharp) and I'm coming to the conclusion, after using it for a few weeks, that the Old Spice is better than all my other soaps, including MWF, and Tabac. I sure wish they still made these things.
Well, I finally decided to actually use my NOS Gillette Blue Blades

^^^I haven't used mine because I'm afraid I'll like them too much.
I tried one of mine and found it to be quite rough, might revisit one with better prep etc 
I was expecting a different response, but glad to hear they're working for you. I've only ever tried Super Blues and could not get a good shave out of them not matter what I did...
I have some old blades, I might have to try them and see how they are.

As an update, the second shave was very rough, so I changed it out. I wonder if it was just from different soap, brush, hydration, etc. or just that it dulled faster.
