Gentleman,

I have a pet peeve, no, its not parking in NYC, the way taxes are or about the waiter at my favorite restaurant.

Its about signing your posts.

Yep! Who are you?

Some user names are 20 letters long and unpronounceable, a few are numbers and symbols and consequently for me, forgettable.

The bottom line for me is- its just polite, the correct and the pleasant thing to do.

Is it a B&B rule? No, it's not required. I think it just makes the time spent here more pleasant.

There is a signature line available if you do not wish to type it again and again.

Great suggestion -- I agree 100%. When I first visited B&B, I was impressed by the gentlemanly discussions, which are rare in cyberspace. I think signatures help with this process and adds an important human touch. I just updated my signature.
