Wee Scott

Got me one o' them thar Wee Scot brushes. That's him on the right. There is a US quarter and a Roney style 1 size 2 there for comparison's sake. Note that the base of the brush is just a hair's breadth smaller than the quarter. It is definitely "wee". It's hard to show you with a picture just how small it is in person. I'm still not sure which side of the "novelty" line it is on.

The hair is a little nicer than shows in the picture because it is still wet from a trial lathering I did. Believe it or not, using Cella, I got more than enough lather for one pass. I would probably go back to the soap for another pass.

I don't think this will go into my normal rotation, but I will try that for a while just to see how the little fella stands up to the big boys!

Wow! Thanks for posting the pic of the brush next to the Rooney & the Quarter. The Quarter really puts the brush into perspective! I knew it was a small brush from the name but not that small.

I used the Wee Scot for my shave tonight. Big surprise! I got two full passes from one brush load!

It is pretty nice in that you can be very precise in applying the lather to the face.

I'm giving this little fella a chance. Will use it for a few more days in a row to get used to it.

One thing I can recommend -- There have been other threads asking about the Roney; should you get the size one or the size two (which I have)? Based on the Wee Scot experience I am certain that a Roney size 1 would be plenty big enough and If I were going to do it over again I would get the 1/1 instead of the 1/2 that I have.

It is pretty neat how conservative the Wee is of lather and just how nicely it places it....

If your experience is anything like mine the days of huge knot desire are past.

I think I am on day 7 tomorrow of my Wee and it has essentially made my Rooney 1/1 desires go way way way to the back burner.

ive got a tiny little brush too. I was shocked by how good it worked, the first time I used him.

It was a present bought from an antique store, and I was just going to keep him around as a novelty, but I lathered him up and WOW!

man,now i know what i want, i love a small brush, even like a medium bbb ej is bigger than i'd like it, i would love a tiny tiny brush,

what's the pricing on these wee scots?

I just sold mine, I fell for large knots. It hasnt seen any use for over a yr. We did have a great 3 yr run though.

Mine was a pre vulfix.
