Maranez Layan series 1 today.
I must say, that is the most unusual watch I have ever seen. Being new to watches and particularly vintage watches, which this appears to be, I would love to learn more about the Maranez Layan series.

Hi Tim, Several of the Maranez range are homages to Panerais. Other than the 42 mm Radiomir, Pans are too big for my small wrists. The Layan uses a decent ( I think Japanese) movement. The California dial was originally used on a Rolex model I believe. On the Layan it gives a nice style IMO. I’ve been very impressed with this watch - it keeps time as well as any mechanical. You can pick these up in the $200-250 range fairly easily.
