There was/is.

Joel & company are doing some site upgrades and, for now, this feature is disabled

As Kujo mentioned, the search has been disabled for a couple days for some site upgrades that are in the works.

I anticipate being able to turn it back on tomorrow barring any unforseen circumstances.
