Wanted...Tech-pert

Since joining here 45 days ago, I have accumulated a modest ( well compared to some of the collections I see some of the newbies with I might even downgrade that to pathetic :tongue_sm )collection of razors.

Even though I'm into TTO's somehow I've ended up with 4 Techs. :tongue_sm

They just seem to be so common around here.

Never shaved with them, never had them out of my storage box, never really intend to shave with them ( though I have got one as my "emergency" razor down at the holiday home )

The last one, my father just gave me tonight so won't be doing anything with that one.

Cause all three are British there's no date stamps on them ( last two are the aluminium handles ) :

Gillette in Diamond with Arrow | Gillette no diamond | Embedded Gillette

Something I noticed though is that they have 3 different logos on the heads. ( Sorry for cr@ppy photo's , couldn't be bothered setting lights up correctly etc.... )

I've sorted into what I'm guessing the age of the logos is............

Does this help me date them ?????

In addition what sort of value are they worth ???

Only the last one comes in a little plastic carry case with a slot for the handle, the head and some razors ( white with clear lid ) and is in mint condition. The other show distinct signs of use and wear as you can see from the head ( though the handles are fine ).

Perhaps if I sell all three I can get myself a new TTO :001_smile

Any help, greatly appreciated.

I can't help you with the dating on them, but I would highly recommend using one. Techs are great shavers. You'e got to at least use one once before you're rid of them. You won't regret it.

Agree completely. I have all but abandoned my Super Speeds (1949, 1957, and 1956 red tip) for the Tech (gold, no date code, USA made; the C2 and Z2 nickel models I have are equally good).
