Want to rescale a razor and need to know.

I thought I would use micarta. Do I choose material that is 1/8" or 3/16" thick?

No help on the thickness needed, But I work with Micarta alot, pls make sure when sanding etc you wear a respirator, that stuff can be real bad on your lungs.

I think 1/8 should be sufficient. 3/16 would require you to do more sanding to get it down to the right thickness.

Also I would agree that a good respiratory is important while sanding.
