One of the all time great buys in wet shaving was a case of the fantastic Superior 70 bay rum from Puerto Rico ,shipped FREE by Walgreens.No more,online sales have been cancelled,and most Walgreens do not carry this fine bay rum.

I picked some of this up last week! It was actually in the cologne section (not the first aid) of my local Walgreens so that might be another place to check if anyone goes to buy some.

I was just at Walgreen browsing this forum against my Wifes wishes and bam they had this in stock so I bought one. I am going to give it a go after I shave tonight.

This is true in California as well..it is NEVER located in the shaving section,and the menthol version seems to be sold only in east coast Walgreens stores.The wonderful eucalyptus version was discontinued about 2 years ago.If you want to spend a little extra,Superior 70 comes in a giant size bottle as well,24.5 ounces if memory serves me correctly....This stuff is real PURE bay rum,no spices or perfumes,and the alcohol is distilled at the ancient rum (liquor) distillary in Puerto Rico.At any price this bay rum is a great bargain,one of the best.For pure bay rums I rate Dominica #1 ,St.Lucia #2 and Superior 70 #3.......

I have been in a Walgreen's hunt for Superior 70.. I believe I have checked around 5 stores with no luck. Then I called stores in a couple other towns that I frequent and they were no help. Most places think I'm crazy or have never heard of bay rum. One place told me to check Walgreen's that have an ethnic or Hispanic section. Then I couldn't find a store that had that special section. One store manager told me they could special order it. So, that is an option unless you get lucky. After my search I am wondering why Walgreen's even shows Superior 70.

Rub it in, guys! Almost impossible to get it to over here, hnngh! Bootlegger's bay rum seems like a distant dream.
