What's new

Wah wah waaaaaaaaaaa!

My brush came today, one of my razors came today. I got to shinning and cleaning it up, getting ready to try it out. Went out to get some soap and blades, got the soap, and the only place around that carries DE blades were sold out. :thumbdown

Where in Maryland. I live in Silver Spring and if you need I can bum you a few

Up in Eldersburg. Thanks for the offer but that's alright. I just ordered a sampler pack from westcoastshaving.com. I can wait a couple more days. I didn't call myself Scruffy for nothing.

Walgreens was sold out. Walmart didn't carry them anymore. And the CVS website didn't say they whether the ones they have are carried in my local store, and I didn't feel like stopping by there. So I guess I'll wait a couple days or if I feel super motivated I'll go by CVS and see if they have them. :) Which actually I need to get some better metal cleaner/polish so maybe I'll make another trip.

This is the exact reason you should stock up on blades. Currently I could try out about 500 new razors at the same time....and I feel nowhere near appropriately stocked. You can get Astra's for less than $10/100 and tons of other good blades for less than $20/100. Hell, for a $100 investment you could have enough blades to last you nearly 10 years, depending on which ones you bought.

It stinks to have something new and not be able to try it. If I lived anywhere near you I'd hop in the car and meet you somewhere. Good luck with the new razor. BTW, you didn't tell us what kind of razor you got?

I didn't get a razor or two on ebay because they went higher than I wanted to bid. There were two other auctions for Gillette Super-Adjustables ending close to each other. I couldn't babysit them when they were ending so I bid on them both and ended up winning them both. I also won a Schick Krona. The razor I received so far was one of the super-adjustables.
