Hello and welcome. I haven't heard of that razor, but perhaps if you post a few pics someone might recognize it.

The blade was not re-ground. That is an original profile.
I am 99.99 % sure the blade was made by the Kastor Bros. plant (Germania Cutlery Works) in Germany.
H.M. Redemann was a barber supply company in Louisville, Kentucky
Established no later than 1891 and in business to at least 1961.
The blade would have had to be made before 1938 since the Nazis seized the factory the year and sent 2 of the Kastor brothers to concentration camps. they did not survive. The american plant stayed in business.
Search for Kastor Bros. or A. Kastor in the archives. I remeber posting on them in the past. One of the most prolific straight manufacturers in US history and supplier to many barber supply companies.
I've never come across a bad Kastor made blade.
