W&B markings?

Is this really a W&B?

The markings are partially removed but it shows "Wade& Butchers"

Butchers with an "s"?

Is this a unique misprint or has anyone else come across this marking?

It’s not unique, but it’s a wade and butcher “for barbers use“ is the 2nd line and the 3rd line should say Sheffield. It’s date is roughly pre 1890 to about 1870 roughly. It’s kinda hard to say without better pictures and/or not having it in front of me.

Thanks Larry, I hadn't seen one with the s that close following butcher. Thought it looked a little strange. 🧐
