I've posted about having a new Vulfix #5 boar brush that I wasn't to sure about. Anyway, I've tried bowl lathering, puck, and face lathering. It will bowl lather, but there is not much for a second pass. Anyway, do these take a while to break in? Its not scratchy or anything, but it just don't have any volume like my VDH boar. Its more like a large, pointed artist brush.

Most boars will take around 20-25 uses to break in or more. You may want to add twice as much soap/cream than usual when using it. Good luck.

Thanks for not letting me write that post all over deoxy! It will improve but my Vulfixes took a really long time getting there; worth it though imo.
