I love the Russians - Voskhod, Rapira and Ladas. But the Sputniks I did not care for.

I just ordered Rapiras tonight. Think I'll be including samples of several brands with my 3,000 post PIF. Trying the Voskhods very shortly.

You've inspired me to try one of two Voskhods I must of gotten from Toothpick or in a sampler. If all goes as well as this thread suggests, thanks for the recommendation and the suggested source.

After my success, I think it's safe to say anyone with a light hand, and half a brain should love voskhods.
Also seeing this post, I immediately remembered I was going to order 100 of these when I got paid. Well I got paid on thursday and forgot, but now I've got 100 of these little beauties coming my way. .18$ a blade, not bad at all.

I would love to try these, so many new things to try it never stops
Just shaved with this (in my British Rocket HD)... very similar to Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow, it that it is very slick and comfortable so you almost wonder if its cutting. If anything, a bit sharper since after two passes (WTG, XTG) I was pretty much done. The last pass (ATG) cleaned up my tough spots (chin, upper lip, the hollows of my cheeks).
i especially like the packaging, outer wrapper is well done, inner wrapper has an almost "wax paper" look and feel, with a different config (less overlap like an envelop, more like a gum wrapper). Seemed to have very little glue on the blade too. definitely looking forward to the second shave tomorrow, and if that goes well, definitely ordering.
