Anyone just put the Volquartzen sear in their Ruger Mk series? I'm thinking of doing this and would like some opinions if just the sear would be worth it. I just ordered a Tandemkross hammer bushing to get rid of that stupid mag disconnect.

The bushing to replace that disconnect will make that gun 1000x more enjoyable.
Cant go wrong with Volquartzen hardware. Pretty tried and true.
I put a Volquartzen hammer / springs / washers kit on my 10/22 and am very happy with the results.

Got it from Midway. Just got it put in and it makes quite the difference. Not only that I also went and got rid of the mag disconnect with installing a hammer bushing from http://www.tandemkross.com/Steel-Ruger-Mark-III-2245-Magazine-Disconnect-Bushing_p_9.html
I also waiting on a VQ trigger and a filler to replace the lci.

I have the bushing and LCI filler in mine but was thinking about the trigger and sear.

I'd say go for it. I did polish the Ruger sear but it was no where near as smooth and light as the VQ, now waiting on the trigger.

Got the filler and trigger today. Got it all done and oh boy does it all make a huge difference. Wish I had done this years ago.
I know you were talking about the Ruger 22 pistol; but I like to also mention that this Valquartsen upgrade is (for me at least) a cost effective upgrade for a 10/22 trigger.

I did not measure the trigger pull, but it seems to have gone from about 6 or 7 lbs to 4 lbs. For me, it was perfect.

Quality products all around.
Now I'm wanting to to do all this... sigh. 
Never had one of the Ruger pistols to try, but have done it in three of their 10-22 and a 77-22(bolt action) rifle and there is no comparison to the stock Ruger trigger.
To anyone on the fence, DO IT! Money well spent! There are videos all over Youtube about how to make the change.
