Pen shop to the stars! I’ve heard both Neil deGrasse Tyson and Neil Gaiman namedrop FPH in interviews. So, stars named Neil, anyway. If I ever make it back to NYC, I’ll have to it out, along with Pasteur’s Pharmacy, of course. In the meantime, I count myself fortunate to live in proximity to three very fine pen shops in the DC area.

I bought cartridges for my Phileas. I was tempted by the Namiki-Pilot MR (a.k.a. Pilot Metropolitan) but held off.
There's a nice selection of pre-owned pens too.

It's also worth mentioning that the proprietor, Mr. Wiederlight, is a very courtly old-school fellow.
