What's new

Vintagescent.com

This may be a dumb question, but I can't find the answer during a quick search.

I'm interested in purchasing a boar brush and possibly some other products from vintagescent. However, I receive e-mails from Bruno as the store owner. Are there two vintagescent.com sites? Are Bruno and Leon affiliated?

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered numerous times.

My records are consistent with your experience - I have email confirmation from Bruno, however Leon is definitely the face of VintageScent around here.

No, they are one person: Bruno=Leon

Maybe his first name is Bruno, and last name is Leon?

Bruno's last name is Fernandes. Maybe Leon will respond and fill us in.

And then, just to really confuse things, I found this old post in a discussion of the Semogue Boar 830 brush:

Apparently mine has been lost in transit. Leon & Bruno are doin' me right, though. Another one is on the way, no hassle! Great job, VintageScent.com!

I recently made 2 separate purchases from VintageScent. Both transactions went as expected and the merchandise was received in New Mexico in about 7 or 8 days. Although I don't know anything about Bruno vs. Leon, I can say I am very happy with my purchases.

Bruno is a fine gentleman, one of my orders had a little mix up. I received a 444 alum block instead of the 444 aftershave gel. He responded right away to my email, and promptly sent the aftershave gel, no extra charge

The man with two names has always treated me right. A reputable and friendly vendor with great products and very reasonable shipping charges. :thumbup1:

Yes, I know. Bruno should have registered here as Bruno.

Hi folks,

Some years ago, when I was starting to register in some wet-shaving forums, the name "Bruno" was already taken, so I had to decide for a different one. Shortly before, I saw the movie "Leon, the Professional", a wonderful movie, so in the lack of a better name, I decided by "Leon", a short and plain nickname.
So, I'm Bruno (my real name) and go by the nickname "Leon". :001_cool:
