That's right my friends: yet another blast from the past.

I'm dating this bad boy WAY BACK, circa 1969.

Purportedly a favorite of both Elvis and the Chairman, the fragrance in this bottle is still as fresh and manly as I remember it in my budding youth, leaving me ready to rock--or to swoon--depending on how I may be so disposed...

Looks interesting. I had never heard of it, but http://www.basenotes.net/products/zizanie has some discussion. Picking through it, I see comparisons to Royal Copenhagen, Stetson and Black Suede. And quite a few complaints about reformulation.

It's clean and fresh to me, a tad flowery but still manly: one of the better aftershaves I've tried.

I'm sure I haven't hit that bottle more than 10 times since the mid-70s. But now that I'm a modern "wet shaver" I'll use it a few times a week and not look back when its gone.

Sorry to bump this with such little interest, but I just had to say I used it again this morning and am so enamored of it I scored another vintage bottle off Etsy. This one's from the '70s and doesn't have the red, white and blue cloth and pin that my old one had before I peeled it off.
