Vintage Soaps

I have about a half a puck of Seaforth, that I milled into the Seaforth mug. I think I have used it perhaps twice, and found it to be a good performer both times. Twice is not enough to form a strong opinion of it; so I can't tell you it is great.

P.S. The Seaforth logo on those mugs is a decal; I tried to preserve what was left of mine with some clear fingernail polish, and it basically rubbed right off!! I now have a Seaforth mug with ZERO writing on it!!:blush:

Took the Seaforth Shaving Soap for another run this morning. Got a rich, creamy, wonderful lather from it, and a top quality shave. :tongue_sm

Yesterday's shave was so good, I took it for another spin this morning. Another very nice quality shave. Seaforth is a really good quality soap!!

Seaforth is some really good stuff.

I have 3 mugs with soap/insert.

The scent is strange....kind of an industrial smelling citrus.

I agree Seaforth is really good stuff!! But most of the vintage tallow based soaps are really great stuff. Mine has no scent remaining. :001_smile

I have one I wish had no scent. Its called SeaSpray or something. Its in a wooden shave stick holder which is neat but it reminds me of a $40 room in Daytona on the beach if you've ever been there. lol
MacGregor seems to be real nice. I've been using a mug of it.
