How far back (in years) do the Vintage slants go?

I don't know, but I would like to know more about the history of the Slant razor concept.

I have no idea, but Slantfan (a member here) has a Merkur slant razor that is dated to ca. 1925.

Perhaps Einstein discovered the Slant principle as a by-product of some of his more famous work.

I remember seeing a thread that stated Merkur copyrighted the Slant design in the 1920s. Don't think they go before then. What I would like to know is how Merkur think they can get away with stating the 1904 is in any way based on a double-ring?
