Vintage Sheaffer FP needs new ink sac

I picked up a Sheaffer green flat-top a few weeks back, and after finally pulling it apart to clean it out to use it, the ink sac crumbled to bits. I found Pendemonium's site that pretty much spells it out, but are there any other options on the 'net that I should know about?

Pendemonium will take good care of you and it's an easy fix to do yourself.

I would suggest, tho, if you're going to glue the sack onto the nipple (which is a good idea), use a small dab of rubber cement and not shellac or clear nail polish. Any of those will work, but rubber cement is more forgiving if you don't get it exactly right the first time.

Richard Binder - www.richardspens.com - says that nail polish should not be used in place of sac cement as nail polish is corrosive to some materials used in pen manufacture, although Frank Dubiel says to use it in "Da Book".

Richard has good step-by-step sac replacement instructions in his reference pages.

Thanks all for the suggestions, I'll post up some shots once I've got it working and fully cleaned up.

Cheers!
