Vintage Omega watch

A local pawn broker has a vintage Omega gentleman's watch with a sub dial second hand. Give it a little shake and it starts right up. Screw down case back. Serial number on movement dates it to 1954, I believe. Case back gasket could use replacing. Inside the case back it looks like it has been service three time, maybe four. Going from memory here.
14k gold. Also inside the caseback are stamped two sets of letters and numbersW317418 and F6321 1.

Without negotiating yet, $375.00. Any opinions from the Omega folk here?

I'd go to watchuseek.com and post the image and any questions in the Omega forum. Those guys will know everything...if everything is original, if the dial is refinished, etc.

I have a very similar one. It is very classy look yet understated. It was my grandfathers. Much smaller than current watches but looks worlds great.

It looks a lot like mine; manual wind, runs great, keeps excellent time, it's an Omega, got it in a Pawn Shop. He/they will probably take less; it is worth $4-500.

If you can get to the serial numbers, the Omega corporate website has a look up tool for vintage watches.
I've used it before with some success.
Sorry I don't have a link for you, but I'm sure you can find it.
