Vintage Old Spice Question

Long story, but I am renting a beach house and the renter has a couple of bottles of what I think are Vintage Old Spice Cologne. The bottles are ceramic and the copyright on the back of both says 1993 Shulton, Inc. One bottle is more of a khaki/ecru color and the other is more eggshell white.

I asked if I could purchase them from him and he says that I can have one of them as a gift from him! Since he has been using Old Spice exclusively since he was 18 (he's now 65), I'd like to leave him with the older more valuable bottle. Anyone know if there is a difference here??

if both say Shulton 1993, to further date them check the bottom to see if the mfg code on the bottom is still there?

Nice, they look nearly identical but the one on the right is probably the older one due to slightly darker color. Sometimes checking the cast marks on the bottom of the bottles can clarify more detail.

Thanks! I can see some numbers on the bottom but not sure what they mean...is there a decoder?

The discoloration probably occurred during the manufacturing process. Maybe from a different factory or slightly different silica? The vintage cologne is great. I have a couple of those. It really stays with you all day long.

Have several Vintage Old Spice Bottles from 1993. Both bottles are indeed glass and not ceramic. The different shades are from inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. I am happy to have a lifetime supply of vintage Old Spice original along with several bottles of Vintage Lime, Leather and Special Edition.
