Vintage leather bag

I've bought this bag a few years ago from a German antique shop for only 5 euro and I totally forgot about her until I've found her recently in my garage. The only markings I see are MC, but I don't know anything about that brand or if it's even a brand. The bag looks like brand new without any signs of usage. I wonder why type of leather is made of and how old it is. Any information would be appreciated.
