Vintage hybrid

Hello,

took a resin handle that had some surface impurities around the top and an aluminum collar from a rotting wooden handle.
After some eyeballing, I thought it will look good.
Right now nothing is glued as I will try to further polish the translucent resin.
It accepts a 22 mm knot.

After cutting, sanding and polishing:

It looks like it will be a bit of a Frankenbrush in appearance (which it is) but it also looks like it would be really comfortable to hold.

Thank you all. The project is on hold as I found a bakelite wonder and it looks like I can turn it into a shaving set of some sort. Only a knot, some epoxy and aluminum rod are missing.
