Vintage Gillette Aristocrat

Anyone like the Aristocrat as a daily driver? I absolutely love mine! It's a '46 or'47, and beat to hell and back, but I love it. I inherited one from a dear friend who passed away a few months ago, and man what a journey it started. Now I have several and also a whole shelf full of vintage Gillettes. I even squired a Gillette model 102 with a 1916 serial number from a thrift store and found blades on eBay for it. But the Aristocrat is my daily razor and probably always will be! Does anyone use theirs that often?

I have the OC brit #15 rodium Aristocrat, yep daily razor here. I love it. It took 5 days rest last week while I hit the Gillette NEW, but shes back. See my pic in Shave of the day. A smooth, sweet shave.

The post-war US Aristocrat is my favorite non-adjustable Gillette TTO. I had a '48 and stopped using it when my RAD exploded. I wound up selling it because I wasn't using it . . . I finally figured out that was a mistake! I kept my eyes open and eventually found another '48 in very solid condition. In fact, it is up next in rotation . . . yes!!

My 40's Aristocrat is my daily driver. I have said this before, but I liken it to a Red Tip on steroids. Mild, mild, mild, but perfectly capable of a BBS. Love it!

1947 Aristocrat(USA). I love using this gem everyday! 3-4 pass shave and a bbs with no nicks, cuts or weepers! My other DE's are gathering webs!
