Vintage gem SE Blades... Shaveworthy?

Hi,

With a gem 1912 I bought myself today, there was a packet of new (old)blades.

They look quite old. I opened one, and they dont appear to be rusty at all on the blade edge, slight surface rust on the upper part.

The blade was sharp enough to cut the hairs on the back of my hand just by lightly dragging it across.

As long as my tetnus shots are up to date would you risk a shave? :)

If they seem sharp enough, I don't see why not. Give it a good dose in Barbercide before use if you want to make sure it is germ free. :tongue_sm

Oh, and welcome to the world of Gemocrats!!

hmmm... let us know how it turns out - from my RAD(SE) days I have a bunch of NOS Gem blades. I was just wondering if they'd be worth trying.

Please, keep us informed.

(Let us know when you get out of hospital!)
