Vintage Blades/SRD Latigo Strops

Vintage Blades and SRD

I've been looking around for a strop to replace my Filly within a month or so. I had my eye on the SRD latigo, however they don't offer it with d-rings. Vintage Blades offers what appears to be the same strop as SRD (save branding), but with a choice of d-rings or handles. Does anyone know definitely if these are the same strop?

I have no experience with either but it is very common for vendors to use the same manufacturer for some products as a private label sort of way.

They appear to be. Do yourself a favor though and get a Tony Miller. Tony is wonderful to business with and you get a high quality strop anyway you like.

I have a 3" SRD strop. I agree, they look identical to one another. My guess would be that they are indeed made by the same craftsmen.

Also, just wanted to add that I really like the SRD strop!

I've got the Vint Blades 3" Latigo with handles...love it but not sure if its the same as SRD...wouldn't surprise me, but I dont know for sure.

They are most likely the same. Lynn Abrams sells the strops through his maker to them I know for the 3" latigo. They are the same strop though. Nashville knife shop also sells the SRD strops as well.

+1, if you can get one. I haven't checked Tony's website in a bit, but he was on vacation for awhile.
