Vintage Aftershaves?

So, I was thinking about picking up some vintage aftershave and I was wondering if anyone had any favorites that I might want to consider.

I also was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to pick some up. I am a little bummed after being outbid on a bottle of Monseiur de Givenchy on the 'bay and thought maybe I could try elsewhere...

i'd recommend estate sales, thrift stores, Goodwill stores, antique stores, even pawn shops maybe. If you know of a mom & pop store check there too, a lot of times they will still have old stuff sittin on the shelves.

Oh, did you mean the oldies but goodies that are still produced today? :blushing:

Aqua Velva is gradually becoming a favorite of mine. Very cooling, but doesn't dry my skin.

Walgreens carries a good selection of the oldies, likewise CVS probably does too. Walmart has Old Spice, Aqua Velva, and Stetson, some others I cant remember.

Pinaud Clubman is always the gold standard.

Jason, I was actually looking for something no longer produced, so your first post was helpful. Maybe something along the lines of Hai Karate?

if you have a TJ Maxx or a Ross around you check them out. I've found a lot of "old" and not so popular cologne in both places. Such as Grey Flannel, Red, Kanon. Although the colognes are still in production (I think) both companies buy old stock or overstock from other companies so you might get lucky.
