Very Interesting Gillette | A Giant Old Type | Check It Out

Just fumbling about I discovered this Gillette Old Type on eBay.

Just how giant is this sucker? Well, it measures 16 1/2" tall and weighs 11 lbs 4 ozs. The head measures 7 11/16" long x 4 11/16" wide tooth to tooth.

It's brass. A nearly identical example is shown on page 140 of the Krumholz Gillette book.

It's for sale (not auction) on eBay at a giant price. I'm busy trying to find blades for the razor.
