I have not heard much discussion about it recently, but the brush does exist. VDH was producing them for a different customer, and apparently ended up with an overstock of them.

It's now $23 shipped ($20 for the brush, $3 p&h). The brush in the pic from michiganlover doesn't really look like mine though; I'll have to take a pic of it and post it later tonite when I get back home.

Its a relatively large brush and quite floppy.

I have one and have used it. It's a little floppy and a touch scritchy. I didn't care for it as a face latherer type brush but it makes a great "painter" style brush. Doesn't work to well with harder soaps but does a fine job with creams.

I got one about a year ago. It is too floppy for my taste but I agree with poppi, it works great "painter style". But "I drink my whisky strait and eat unthawed TV dinners". -Richard Carlton Hacker
