Van Der Hagen Getting No Love at Target?

I was at Target last night and spotted some Van Der Hagen Unscented Luxury on clearance for $3.38. I wonder if they will discontinue this at my Target or if something else is coming?

It was priced at $3.38. The actual price is $3.99, so it wasn't enough of a discount to load my basket full of Van Der Hagen Luxury Unscented. Interestingly, the Luxury Scented was not on clearance. Anybody else see this happening at your local Target?

My target doesn't sell DE blades but has the Van Der Hagen soaps and and a boar brush/bowl setup.

They don't sell any vdh products at my local target. All they really have are emj products and lots of canned goo

I have visited the three nearest Target stores locally. None had anything from VDH. None had DE blades. None had any of the long-time aftershave brands.

Of the 3 Targets in my area only one has the VDH products. I dont know how they decide which stores will carry it but it seems odd.

The target market for shaving soap (at Target) would by rights be quite small. The number of people who prefer an unscented soap (or who need to use it due to sensitivities) is smaller yet. Given a choice between the two, most people are going to choose the scented.

In my opinion, it was thus illogical for Target to ever stock the unscented in the first place.

I got the VDH luxury kit at Target almost a month ago. I didn't notice which of the other stand-alone soaps they had.

Well, it will be interesting to see if they continue to carry it. I have only bought VDH at Walmart. So far, I am really enjoying the Deluxe soap. Simple, but works!

Bullgoose in Torrance would be great! For now, I suppose I'll settle for VDH at Target and Walmart!

It is really a steal? The VDH Deluxe costs only around $1.50. I haven't tried the VDH Luxury, so I can't say if it is $2.50 better...

Where are you able to get VDH Deluxe for $1.50? I have seen it as cheap as $1.99 online, and in the stores its usually $2.79 for one puck, or $2.49 if you buy 2 pucks.

I had a $3.81 credit in drugstore dollars at drugstore.com and free shipping, so I picked up two pucks of VDH Deluxe, so ended up spending a whopping .40 cents for the two pucks. I have 4 pucks now, which should easily last me over a year. I am seriously considering just seeing how long I can use the VDH exclusively and BST everything else!
