You know the answer to that question yet you ask it any way . Less than renold'sart wants but more than most of us are willing to pay.

Didn't you already have one? Where did you get this specimen?

Thanks guys. I kind of figured I would get these king of answers since they are so rare. I just listed on ebay for $350, but if someone here wants it, I'll go down $25 if I skip ebay fees. I know I had seen one end up at $955.

Do you have the case? The case is different than the standard FB case- the magnifying lens is at the bottom.

Scott, I think $325 is a darn fair price. But you know me. If I had not just blown nearly that much, I would be PM'ing you. Good luck with this!

While we all have a value in mind for our razors, market does not always follow  Yes the 195 peaked at ~950 in an open auction on the 'Bay about a year or so ago, but since then people have been trying to price their 195's high and failed. I am aware of a near mint one sold a few months ago at the $700 range, outside eBay. The razor in question, IMO, is currently priced a little over the high side, and I say that because of the razor's condition. There's Reynoldsart's piece now offered for 500 OBO, that becomes close to a realistic range.

..and while we are at it, hmmm... I really love my 195 bottom dial prototype (true prototype with no date code-- (I know you have seen it, but, I jut can't help it)

It really is a beautiful piece ... whatever you price it at, it will be way out of range for me, so that's less competition for those that really want it (and can afford it.)

And +1 to whoever said it would be worth much, much more with the matching case.

Do you actually shave with that 195? Display it in your collection? Or keep it locked up in a safe-deposit box down at the bank?
