Valobra Shave Soap in Dish!

I emailed Valobra asking them if they would be adding a shaving soap puck or dish into their lineup anytime soon.. This is the email i received back from them!

"Thank you very much for being enthusiast and appreciating Valobra special shaving soap.

Your suggestion seems to be close to a positive issue, as we are bound to introduce on the market Valobra soft shaving soaps in a jar. As soon as it is ready for sale it will be published on Valobra site www.valobra.com.

Notice they said soft soaps which the shave stick is not. You can already purchase Valobra hard shaving soap in a dish......it is branded as Art of Shaving. Past threads seemed to indicate that Valobra has a non-compete type of agreement with AOS on the hard soap in a bowl/dish.

Yeah, as someone who missed out on the lavender and fougere limited runs, I'd be very interested in something similar.

I hope this will not replace the paper-wrapped chunk. IMHO the minimalistic and vintage-style packaging is one of the attractive points of that soap. It's a soft soap so you can always easily press it into any container you like.

The menthol has very little scent. It smells soapy and a little minty. The cooling sensation is quite mild.

To my nose, the almond is a bit bitter. It's certainly not as sweet as the tub version of AK 1869. I think the almond has a little more scent than the menthol, but is, overall, pretty mild.

The menthol is my favorite because the scent is sweeter and softer.

The almond is a raw bitter almond but less raw and lighter than Cella. The Menthol is the same as the Almond... with added menthol (a little).
