Is there a place where I can learn to modify a GEM blade, or pick up the Feathers that fit?

So Dave, the feather SEs will work without modifications? I'm kind of curious seeing as I just picked up an autostrop razor myself.

yes they do.

if you decide to strop w/ feathers, dont overdo it or youll eventually ruin both the blade and the strop.

yes. anything but blades originally made for autostrop razors would have that issue.
