Valet Auto Strop Razor didn't close

Bought the on to the left recently and the lower comb part didn't close and aline correctly with the upper part. The right razor as reference.

Locked at the bottom and it has a small plate being screwed in.
The reference razor is different with rotation on cylinders.

Disassembled and the small plate(lever) seemed to fit better if turned upside down(after turning pic. 3505).
Assemble and the razor close correctly.

In the box are 3 packages of Valet origin blades probably unused and perhaps the razor is too. Perhaps someone bought it like this or turned it into this and gave it away to joke with someone? Who knows......

I now realise the plate/lever is in the same orientation as it was before.
It was not flipped upside down.

It simply helped to disassemble and assemble, also put some grease in between.
Perhaps tightened the screws less.
Before it was impossible to get any action at all by the lever plate.
