Vacation antique store find - help indentify?

Found this little beauty along with what I think is a Gillette Old Type Khaki at an antique store in central Vermont last week.

A few minutes on the internet last night including this excellent thread started by Jobol http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showth...or-Type-E-vs-Type-G-mini-identification-guide leads me to believe that it's a Schick Type E .

Did I correctly identify this razor? What's your experience with the Type E's (if that's what this is?)

Yes it is the Type E. Same as the Type G, but the E has a bakelite handle and the G has a molded plastic handle. Very good shavers! So easy it feels like you're cheating.

Thanks KJ. Jobol's thread was helpful in that identified if there was only one Patent number, 1806087, it indicated that it was an E.

Initially I thought that I would pick up some CVS blades, but after not finding many appreciative threads about them, have ordered some Schick branded blades.

I didn't realize that the G models were plastic handles.
