USPS, "no access to delivery location" old man rant

Mail carrier quality have a human element. That means quality varies. The same with local postmasters. Have seen some very good, some indifferent, and some that would remind you of Barney Fife.

I completely agree. We've always been fortunate to have a very good local office. Some of the others, well, I can't say the same. I will say, though, that I've actually received phone calls from people when I've had to track packages. Some out there definitely care.

But this is a rant thread, so--

There was the time the FedEx driver stuck a "you weren't home" notice directly above the written authorization I left (on FedEx's very form, even).
