USPS First Class to Canada. ridiculous!

I paid $7.35 for a 2.5oz package

Outrageous, just a few months ago it was about half that.

The USPS representative said they are increasing without even notifying them

Considering an envelope can be sent for $1.10 which is up to 1oz. it does make it seem a little outrageous.

I mailed a padded envelope one week and the lady charged me around $2. the next week I got a different lady and she said because it was a padded (bubble mailer) envelope that it was considered a "package" and it cost me 6 something.

If you can mail your stuff in non padded mailers that's the best.

Be happy you're not having to pay for shipping the other way.

If you think that's outrageous, you should see what it costs to ship _From_ Canada. About double again, if not more.

I remember the Canadian Mail was on strike some time ago, just when I was supposed to receive a package from Canada. They suck.

Yeah, I get my comics by mail-order (honestly like 3 books a month) and it costs at least $10 to ship them from Quebec to Ontario.
