Using two razors for one shave

Anyone else do this?

I discovered a way to save the life length of my blades by using two razors with different blades.

Since shaving WTG for me is quite easy and painless, I use my Futur with a cheaper Walmart Personna and then doing my XTG and ATG passes with my HD a Gillette or a Feather blade.

Anyone else?

Blades are fairly low cost, I don't really see the point....:confused:

Nope, I have more than one but I do not use more than one at the time. I guess I could but nah, I prefer doing the job with the same tool

I shave all the main passes with one razor (whichever I am using that day) but have one SS that is my go-to razor for blade buffing and small spot-cleaning.
It is a very mild razor to my skin and lets me work a spot pretty hard.

I do it sometimes as a way to extend the life of blades that are no longer available. I have a limited supply of a certain Wilkinson blade, as I want them to last as long as possible I sometimes make my first pass using a Red IP.

I think if you are using a blade such as the Swede it would make perfect sense to make the first cut with a cheap blade.

I don't do this all the time tho.

That's what I'm doing right now. I have a few packs of Swedes that I want to keep as long as possible.
