Using my single edge

I've been using my single edge for a week now and I'm starting to feel sick because I'm not using my 39C. I feel kind of guilty. I think I may just use the single edge all the time. I have so many samples and blades to keep in my mind i'm getting vertigo.

They do give nice shaves.

I know what you mean. I just shaved with a 1914 and got a great shave. I know it will just keep giving great results. I like the look of the SE razor.

You were right in the beginning...it is heresy. The daily choice would be: "Do I want a superior shave (SE) or an inferior one (DE)?"

I keep both but for a mechanical razor (i.e. non straight razor) my SEs are definately my favorites now. I really should sell most of my DEs but I'll keep my Slim and Red Tip.

I finally pulled my DE out of mothballs last week. It wasn't a mind-blowingly great shave compared to what I'm used to, but still very fine indeed. I too had SE guilt.

I too got out my beloved Red Tip yesterday. Quite a dissapointment compared to my Streamline.... sigh. I guess I'm now a confirmed LOSER!
