Using CA to repair handles

I have watched videos related to using CA to repair cracks on plastic, ivory, and bone, however, I am looking for some guidance on how to best tackle the cracks along the base of a shaving brush handle.

As you can see, there is a crack that could challenge the integrity of the base of the handle. I do seem to have something I can turn to dust that would serve as filler. Any instructions, tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Dave I can tell you
I have used CA with wood handle repairs before using sawdust and the CA
and it was virtually invisible after a little sanding and some buffing .
You could also try a white marine epoxy that is sold at any hardware store
and they also sell a white epoxy putty that might do the trick

My plan was to turn some of the material from the donor handle into a fine dust, coat and fill the effected area, and then use the thin CA, with the base clamped, to fill it and seal it. I would smooth it out with a sanding block or something.

Thanks @Graydog

Let us know how which method you used for the repair and how it turned out? I am interested but I have no idea how to help you.
