US Presidents who wet shave?

Given that it's election day...here's an interesting question...

Have any of our recent US presidents been wet shavers? I wonder if there is any information on this. They clearly have to shave every day, as we never see the POTUS with a 5:00 shadow. Regardless of politics, it would be an interesting topic!

I don't think I would mind having JFK's shaving kit there.
I would use Kennedy razor.
can any one tell me what that kit would be called?

Well, I'm sure they all did some form of wetshaving up to a certain point in time, since that was the only way to shave. The question is in my mind should be "Which ones shaved themselves?" Even with a presidential barber, some might have chosen to shave their own faces.

But if it were me, I'd have that barber give me a shave with a real straight razor at least a few times a week. Got to look good when you face your public!

Toothpick

Needs milk and a bidet!
if i were POTUS i'd have the barber shave me each time i went for a haircut, any other time i'd just shave myself. I can only imagine that it would be hard to make time everyday for a straight shave from the barber. now wonder what products they use! 2 pass? 3 pass? fav. razor!? ohhhh the questions!

American politics are frightening, but shaving should be held to a higher standard that transends political idologies.

I bet Kennedy was a wetshaver.
Yes, and a better one than Richard M. Nixon. Nixon's refusal to wear makeup and his obvious 5 o'clock shadow during the televised Kennedy/Nixon debate supposedly gave voters an impression that Nixon was, at the least, scruffy and perhaps even untrustworthy. Some historians say it may even have cost Nixon the very close election.

Nixon was also sick, something like the Flu during that debate. Nixon refused makeup because JFK had refused the network makeup artist; Kennedy had his own makeup artist, which Nixon didn't know; hence he refused makeup thinking Kennedy had refused the same. Makeup or not, Nixon could not hide his guarded nature and paranoia. Remember, years later when Nixon was in office and running for re-election, he said he had a plan to end the Vietnam War and would reveal it only after his re-election. 'Nough said? By the way, he had no plan apart from securing another four years--enter Watergate, exit Nixon.
