Picked up a sample of this and tried this with a brush. Lathered easily. Slick, good cushioning, excellent shave, one of the nicest I've tried. I would describe the scent as herbal with some bergamot, perfectly fine. Unlike say T&H Grafton the scent would not motivate me to buy it, but it certainly would not stop me. They say this has some menthol, but I did not notice any kind of cooling sensation.
