Update

I am really enjoying DE Wet Shaving. Everyday the shave improves and my technique gets better. Today I ventured out and starting shaving with my vintage Fatboy. I used a #3 setting with an Astra blade. It was truly a great shave and my face bb smooth. I never knew that such a great shave could be have. After years of mediocre shaves using a multi- blade cartridges. I truly do not understand how more blades equal a better shave. My experience is that in the short time I have been using DE it is totally superior. Superior to any multi blade combo out there. Sometimes we move ahead technically when we already had the best to begin with.

I am loving my fatty as well 7 has worked best for me but I am trying some other combos now too... like 9 on WTG, 5 ATG.

Congrats! It is quite a revelation that you can get a better shave with that 50 year old Fatboy than the 5 blade wonder shaver that is being marketed now!
